Dr Sarah Robertson

Sarah Robertson is Research Fellow in the Centre for Urban Research, RMIT University.

Sarah’s interdisciplinary research emerges from cultural and urban geographies and examines human-nonhuman relations and sustainable interventions at the residential scale.

She is currently working on the Housing Energy Efficiency Transitions project, exploring the lived experiences and justice dimensions of household retrofit.

Sarah completed her PhD at RMIT University on the role of a more-than-human idea of ‘place’ in sustainable residential design interventions in Australian cities. Prior to joining RMIT, Sarah worked at the not-for-profit environment organisation, Renew as editor of Sanctuary magazine.
