Helen Rowe

Helen Rowe is a PhD Candidate in the Centre for Urban Research at RMIT University.

Helen is an independent consultant and researcher whose work promotes more effective ways to manage urban innovation and change.

Her current research, with RMIT’s Centre for Urban Research, is uncovering innovative tactics, strategies and frameworks that can help forward-thinking city makers to make change happen.

Helen draws on a broad career with extensive experience in urban policy, program delivery, community engagement and impact driven design.

She has held leadership roles across government, consulting and not-for-profit sectors, including Director of Sustainable Transport Programs with the Victorian Government and Head of Innovation and Strategy with CoDesign Studio.
