GLOBAL LAUNCH

Join the Series authors, led by Billie Giles-Corti, on Wednesday May 11, 9am AEST, for the global launch of the new The Lancet Global Health Series on Urban Design, Transport, and Health.

The new series builds on work published in a 2016 Lancet series. In this new Series, the Global Healthy and Sustainable City-Indicators Collaboration assess the health and sustainability of 25 cities across 19 countries, using indicators of urban design and transport policies and features.

The authors will be joined by an external panel of stakeholders to discuss what the recommendations means for cities in the future. The panel session will be followed by Q & A.

Learn more about the panel and register here for the global launch on May 11, or here to attend a follow-up launch on May 12, 13:00 UTC.

Following the global launch, at 10:45 AEST, May 11, join the local launch, where authors and panellists discuss the report with a focus on Melbourne and Sydney. This seminar will highlight findings for Melbourne and Sydney and discuss implications for the future planning of our cities.
